My Life ... My camera

My Life... My Camera

Its black, the colour which is so deep rooted within us and yet so unattainable. This one thing which captures everything, every little freckle of our face, the colours of our eyes and  nails … this blackness I am talking about has eyes attached to mine. A uniqueness endorsing a multitude of rainbow colours lives inside me. My blackness, my camera, it makes me alive with every click… with every grain of colour I pour into its eyes- it in mine.
The lens of the camera is just like our eyes. We see through it. Its optical view finder is our vision. The photographer is the brain of the camera. The brain decides what it has to capture. Similarly it is our decision to capture ourselves in the types of life we want to live.
A camera at times has to capture the illness and dirt of the society  the same way we witness ups and downs in our lives and then eventually face them.
I compare the reel of the camera with my heart, the process of developing the photograph under the red light with my learning stage and the experiences I went through and finally the photographs with my expression which is the reality I want to show the world .
In the end I choose to express myself in black …what’s your colour?!
My Love... My Life is my Camera
